Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with various machinery and tools, ensuring the efficient operation of production equipment.

NEI employs a reliable and trained Production staff to safely carry out day-to-day production activities, processes and hands on manufacturing tasks associated with manufacturing and process support. A positive attitude, desire to work as efficiently as possible, attention to detail and excellent stakeholder-facing communication skills required. The work is fast paced, demands quick thinking, solid decision making and changes rapidly. Production staff members can operate effectively with little or no supervision, function well as part of a team and multitask without being overwhelmed. Continuous training and development are integral to this role as are flexibility and availability for overtime if needed. This role is actively engaged in production activities.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Supervises and coordinates the work of employees who set up and operate machines.

• Prepares work schedules, assigns work, and oversees the work product.

• Ensures machine function and output is according to specifications.

• Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent.

• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

• Performs a variety of complicated tasks.

• A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.

• Must be able to work in a hot, dusty environment.

• Operate and monitor processing equipment.

• Following SOP to make product reactions.

• Preliminary testing of product to ensure quality.

• Requires ability to lift 50 lbs.

• Manufacturing experience necessary.

• Ability to work Nights, Weekends, & 12 hour shifts.

• Ability to pass a background check.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
